The Henderson Kāhui Ako 2021 Lead Team is made up of our two Lead Principals as well as the three Across School Lead Teachers. They work closely with the team of Principals, Deputy Principals, In School Lead Teachers and management unit holders within each school.

Our Achievement Challenges are:

Challenge 1: Raise achievement for all students in Writing by improving teacher practice across all our schools.

Challenge 2: Develop culturally sustaining, critical leadership and pedagogy for all our teachers and leaders.

Challenge 3: Develop processes and systems that facilitate seamless transitions and information sharing from Early Childhood Education to Tertiary and future pathways.

At Henderson Valley, we have two In School Lead Teachers. Each ISLT will focus on one of the Achievement Challenges above. Niki Case is responsible for Transition, and Claire Simiona is responsible for Culture.
