2015 Centennial Celebration

Uniting the Community for 100 Years

Henderson Valley School marked its Centennial in 2015. The school opened on April 12, 1915 on Gum Road with 19 students. Now with a roll of close to 400 and 20 classroom spaces, the celebration, as with every event at school, involved the whole community with two days focussing on the past, present and future role of Henderson Valley School in education.

The time capsule laid down in 1990 during that years 75th Anniversary Celebration was opened.
